Practical help for practices with CQC compliance
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England.
Small INDEPENDENT PRACTICES have been the back bone of the dental profession for years. We are now faced with a bureaucratic onslaught, the like of which we have never seen before, that REDUCES our ability to provide patient care and UNDERMINES our viability as SMALL BUSINESSES because of the increasing amount of time, money and resources it DEVOURS. The reality is that we are powerless to do anything other than try to find ways to reduce the effect that this absurd bureaucracy has on running a practice at a time of increasing costs and reducing income.
This website is my GENUINE ATTEMPT to help meet these challenges (ranting and raving isn’t the solution!) by:
OFFERING A FREE SERVICE to help reduce costs – you can freely access whatever information / documentation / activities are here.
SAVING YOU TIME by providing a website that acts as a focal point for concise information and links to other sources of advice and help.
ENCOURAGING the involvement of the whole practice team through opportunities to provide free verifiable CPD for dentists and DCP’s undertaking practical activities that contribute to patient care and practice CQC compliance.
PROVIDING INDEPENDENT information. We don’t offer our own CPD and we are not trying to sell a service.
